Mobility equipment manuals, operator guides and installation instructions For everything we sell as well as service in Tyler and Waco. Every document below is the manufacturer’s own PDF, so it is free to download and there is no form to fill in. Manufacturers usually write one manual per series rather than per model; therefore each entry lists the models it covers. If you can’t find your model, call us and we’ll track it down, because we keep more on file than we list here.

Scooter and wheelchair lift manuals
Operator, installation and service documents for exterior and interior lifts, as well as for pickup-bed carriers. Harmar publishes one manual per lift family rather than per model, so each entry below lists the models it covers. Bruno, however, serves its owner’s manuals through a manual finder that asks for your model or serial number. Before you download anything, find the serial label on the boom or the base plate, because a mid-production change can put your unit on a different document than the model name suggests. Installation manuals also carry the torque figures and wiring notes that an owner’s manual leaves out; consequently they are the ones to print if you are fitting a lift yourself. If you are shopping rather than servicing, our vehicle equipment page lists the lifts and carriers we fit today.
Bruno and Braun vehicle lift manuals
Bruno and Braun name their lifts by series, so match the VSL, PUL or UVL number on the frame rather than the name on the brochure. A photo of the model plate is usually enough for us to identify a lift, so send one over if the label has worn away.

Harmar vehicle lift manuals
Harmar folds several models into one document; therefore open the manual whose model list includes your unit. Where a lift appears twice below, one file is the owner’s manual while the other covers installation and service.

Vehicle lift brochures, charts and warranty forms
Reach for these when you are comparing lifts or checking coverage instead of servicing one. The hitch adapter chart in particular saves a phone call, because it maps vehicle class to the adapter that fits.

Stair lift manuals
Straight and curved stair lift documentation, covering the models we install as well as older ones we only service. Most stair lift faults announce themselves as a beep code or a flashing light, and the owner’s manual lists what each one means, so start there before you book a service call. A curved rail, meanwhile, is built to the staircase itself, which is why a curved lift manual covers the carriage and drive rather than the rail. Once you know which model you have, our stair lifts page shows what we install and what it costs today.

Vertical platform lift manuals
Porch and deck lifts that carry a wheelchair or scooter up a run of steps or, in the case of a through-the-floor lift, between floors. Because a platform lift is a permanent installation, the installation manual is the one that matters at quote time: it gives the pit depth, the clearances and the power supply your electrician will ask about. Owners, meanwhile, generally need only the operating section and the emergency-lowering procedure. Current models are on our vertical platform lifts page, together with the enclosure options.

Mobility scooter manuals
Golden Technologies, Merits and Pride scooter documentation, together with the safety guides that apply across a whole range. Pride publishes one manual per scooter series rather than per model, so each Pride entry lists the models it covers and opens on Pride’s own site. Check the label under the seat or on the frame first, since the series name is rarely printed on the tiller. Most scooter questions we take are about batteries and chargers; therefore it is worth reading the charging section before you assume a pack has died. Finally, current models and pricing are on our scooters page.
Golden and Merits scooter manuals
Both brands document each scooter individually, so look for your model number rather than a series name. Golden also reuses the BuzzAround name across several generations; consequently the GB number is what tells them apart.

Power wheelchair manuals
Folding travel chairs and full-size power chairs, together with all-terrain track chairs. Action Trackchair changed the AXIS controller partway through production, so check the serial number on your chair before picking an AXIS manual. The controller name is printed on the joystick module as well, which usually settles it in seconds. Programming a controller is a dealer job, though, so call us rather than working through the service menus yourself. Otherwise, current models and pricing are on our wheelchairs page.
Folding and everyday power chair manuals
These chairs fold or come apart for the car, so the transport section matters as much as the operating one. Battery type also decides whether a chair can fly, so read that section before you book a flight.

All-terrain and specialty power chair manuals
Track chairs and self-balancing devices behave differently on a slope; consequently the terrain limits are worth reading before the first outing. Action Trackchair, for example, publishes a separate manual for each controller generation.

Lift chair manuals
Pride covers its whole VivaLift range with a single lift chair series manual, in English as well as Spanish. Golden, meanwhile, publishes a general power lift and recline manual as well as model-specific ones. If a chair stops partway through a recline, check the battery backup first, because a flat 9-volt is the most common cause we see. Should you be shopping instead, current models and pricing are on our lift chairs page.

Patient lift and ceiling lift manuals
Overhead and portable transfer lifts, together with freestanding frames. Sling sizing and weight limits are both covered in these manuals, and both matter, so read the capacity chart before a first transfer. Ceiling track systems, in particular, ship an installation manual meant for whoever mounts the track rather than for the person operating the lift. Current models are on our overhead patient lifts page, together with the slings that fit them.

Pool and spa lift manuals
Installation and operation manuals, as well as spec sheets, for pool and spa lifts — all free to download. Aqua Creek lifts run on a battery while Aquatic Access lifts run on household water pressure with no electricity at all, so they fail in completely different ways — our pool and spa lift guide explains how to tell yours apart and what the symptoms mean. In short, if yours has a charger, it is an Aqua Creek. Whenever you are replacing rather than repairing, current models are on our pool & spa lifts page.
Aquatic Access water-powered lift manuals
These lifts use no electricity at all; instead they run on household water pressure, so the installation manual is largely plumbing. Because there is no battery, a fault usually traces back to water pressure or a valve.

Aqua Creek battery-powered lift manuals
Each of these covers installation and daily operation and, above all, how to charge and store the battery. A lift that will not raise is far more often a flat pack than a failed actuator.

Can’t find your model? This library covers the equipment we stock and service most often, and we add to it whenever manufacturers publish updates. If your unit isn’t listed — including older models we no longer sell — call us with the model number from the label on the frame and we’ll send you the correct document. Discontinued manuals are usually archived rather than deleted, so there is nearly always a copy to be found. Meanwhile, current models are on our walkers & rollators page.
Need a part, a battery or a service visit?
The mobility equipment manuals above cover what we sell; besides those, we service plenty of what we don’t. Our technicians carry common batteries, chargers and replacement parts for Bruno, Harmar, Golden, Pride and Merits equipment, and we cover Tyler, Waco and the surrounding East Texas communities. So if a part is holding your equipment up, call before you order it and we will confirm you are buying the right one.
