    Pride Scooter Manuals

    Pride Mobility owner documentation

Every Pride scooter manual, and how to tell which one is yours.

Note that Pride writes one manual per size class rather than one per model, so the book you need is not always named after your scooter. Therefore this page sorts that out, lists all thirteen documents we hold, and points you at the fault-code chart — which is the same for every Pride scooter on this list.

The fault codes are the same on all of them

This is the part worth knowing before you go hunting for your specific manual. Pride scooters share a controller family, so the diagnostic codes the status light flashes are identical whether you are on a travel scooter or a full-size one — nine codes, same meanings.

So we have already written those up in plain English, including the freewheel-lever code that catches almost everybody: see the Pride scooter flash codes. There is no need to download a 300-page trilingual manual to look up a flashing light.

One thing that trips people up regardless of model: clearing the fault is not enough on its own. You also have to switch the scooter off and back on before it will run again, so a fix that worked can look like a fix that failed.

    Which manual covers your scooter?

    • Maxima 3 or 4-wheelHas its own manual — use that
    • Victory or Victory SportHas its own manual — use that
    • Go-Go rangeTravel scooter series manual
    • Not sure?Call us with the serial number

Fortunately, the Maxima and the Victory are the two ranges Pride documents on their own, so if you have one of those the choice is easy. Otherwise, everything else falls into travel, mid-size or full-size by the size of the machine — and if you are between two of those, the serial number on the frame settles it faster than guessing. We are happy to look it up.

A note on the series manuals

Pride publishes the three series manuals in English, French and Spanish inside a single file, which is why they become large downloads for what they contain. The English section is roughly the first third. Worth knowing before you start scrolling on a phone.
