Turny Evo Swivel Seat

The Transfer Seat Turny Evo is a lift that moves the car seat completely outside the vehicle and lowers it down to your desired level. This makes it easier for you to sit down or transfer from a wheelchair. It’s a simple yet very effective way to make your car more accessible.

Getting seated in today’s aerodynamically built cars can be very cumbersome. The Turny Evo is the most advanced seat lift on the market today. It has unique features that make it possible to use in car models where other seat lifts won’t work.

SKU: Turny Evo Category: Hand Controls and Transfer Seats

Description

The Turny Evo swings the vehicle seat out through the door and lowers it toward wheelchair height — turning the hardest transfer of the day into a seated, powered, dignified one. For couples where one partner has been muscling the other into the car, it is a marriage-saver.

Common questions

Does it fit SUVs and trucks? The Turny Evo’s reach and lowering range covers many higher vehicles — we check exact fit against your specific model before ordering anything.

Do you lose the original seat? Installation replaces the seat mounting; this is precision work to NMEDA standards, which is why we do it at our shop and not from a kit in a garage.

FAQ

Does the Turny Evo work for a person in a wheelchair?

The Turny Evo may be an option to make the wheelchair to car transfer easier for many people in wheelchairs and their caregivers. The seat swivels out and down to the level of the wheelchair. This may enable the wheelchair user to transfer themselves, or it may allow for easier, more ergonomic caregiver-assisted transfers.

Can I finance my Turny Evo?

Yes. We finance seating, service, and vehicles. Contact BraunAbility Finance for more information.

How do you transfer from a wheelchair into a handicap accessible passenger seat?

For caregivers transferring an adult or child, the Turny Evo will allow you to perform ergonomic lifts and protect your back. Speak with an occupational therapist for tips and techniques to lift safely. For wheelchair users able to transfer themselves, the Turny Evo lowers to a convenient level for transferring.

How do I know if a the Turny Evo is compatible with my current vehicle?

Choosing the correct swivel base for a user and their vehicle comes down to a wide range of variables. The user’s height, mobility and weight as well as the height of the vehicle’s door opening all play an important role in determining what will work for each individual user. Contact us to confirm that your current vehicle is compatible with one of our products.

I enjoyed working with Noah. This was my first visit with a sales person and I was trying to determine between powered and standard wheelchair. Noah helped by answering all my questions and easing my fear of a power chair.

I brought in an old knee scooter I bought off of FB Marketplace and they went above and beyond to fix the issue and make sure it was safe for my grandson to use. Best bunch of people I have ever met.

I called access to mobility to repair an electric scooter. It was not one that they had built, but they were very willing to come out and look at it. The price was very fair. They also aired up the tires and replaced the brake fluid. They took it back to the shop to work on it for about an hour and brought it back. Excellent customer service and very friendly people to work with. Would highly recommend!
