EZ-ACCESS’s 3G modular ramp system is the permanent-feeling solution that doesn’t require concrete: aluminum sections, platforms, and handrails configured to your entry, assembled on site, and reconfigurable if you move. It is how a wheelchair-height porch gets a code-friendly ramp in days instead of a construction season.

Common questions

How long a ramp will I need? Plan on roughly a foot of ramp per inch of rise — porch height times twelve. Tall porch? Compare a vertical platform lift before committing to sixty feet of switchbacks.

Rent or buy? For long-term needs, owning modular usually wins; ask us to run your numbers both ways.

INFINITE Setups

The PATHWAY Ez-Access 3G Modular allows for infinite modular residential wheelchair ramp and platform setups, creating safe and seamless access for both standard and unique entry ways. Ramp lengths run from 2′-8′, and platforms go up to 8’x5′. Therefore, you can solve almost any access challenge at home.

You can also add options to these modular ramps, platforms, and stairs. For example: angled platforms, landing pads, and safety gates.

Including angled platforms in the design allows for easy maneuvering of tight corners and turns.
With the landing pad, soft surfaces, including grass, are easier to navigate as you approach the ramp.
Our manual gate provides additional safety at the top of the stairs or at the beginning of a ramp run.

Combined with our modular entry ramps, entering and exiting your home will be barrier-free.

SUPERIOR SURFACE OPTIONS

No need to add slip-resistant material to the PATHWAY Ez-Access 3G Modular — it comes built into the design.

PREMIUM HANDRAIL STYLES

Three handrail options are available for the PATHWAY 3G Modular Access System. These component-based rail options are easy to assemble and customize. All styles use aluminum and feature a durable finish with a continuous top rail.

The two-line rail is the most popular handrail setup.
It adds a second rail below the continuous top rail, so you get an extra gripping surface. The lower rail also helps wheelchair users who prefer to pull up a ramp instead of pushing.

More features

Vertical pickets offer an added level of safety, especially for children and small pets.
Our pre-assembled aluminum inserts meet the 4-inch sphere rule for spacing.
Horizontal pickets offer an aesthetic option while maintaining safety. These horizontal inserts run parallel to the topmost rail, combining safety with a pleasant appearance.

DURABLE AND SAFE

Modular wheelchair ramps for homes need to withstand frequent use as well as climate and weather events.

The PATHWAY 3G uses high-strength aluminum, so it will not break down outdoors. Its slip-resistant surfaces keep their grip in any weather. Even the weight of a motorized wheelchair won’t be a problem.

The sides come finished and flush. No nuts or bolts stick into the ramp area, so nothing catches you as you pass by. We build and inspect each ramp in our United States facilities. Every inch is safe and sturdy.

Warranty

1. Homecare Products, Inc., dba EZ-ACCESS (“Manufacturer”), hereby warrants its products shall be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for the lifetime of the product. This limited warranty is applicable to Manufacturer’s parts and components only (i.e., warranty excludes powder-coated finish, applied non-skid tape, etc.).

2. Manufacturer’s obligation and purchaser’s sole remedy under this warranty is limited to, at Manufacturer’s option, repair or replacement of parts and components, which upon examination shall disclose to Manufacturer’s reasonable satisfaction to have been defective. The repair or replacement of a defective product under this warranty will be made by Manufacturer without charge for parts or labor. In the case of a discontinued product, Manufacturer reserves the right to replace the product with a new product of comparable value and function. Manufacturer also reserves the right to refund the purchase price as its exclusive warranty remedy. Purchaser must contact Manufacturer to request service prior to asserting any claim pursuant to this warranty. Manufacturer will then, at its option, either issue a Return Authorization (RA) for return of the product or schedule examination of the product on location. This limited warranty extends to the original purchase and delivery only and is non-transferable. Proof of purchase is required.

3. Manufacturer’s liability is limited to the items set forth above and no part of this warranty shall extend to loss or damage exacerbated by purchaser’s failure to mitigate same, any alleged defect not reported by purchaser within thirty (30) days after discovery, or loss or damage due to (a) installation, alteration, relocation, faulty maintenance, improper loads, negligence, accident, vandalism, misuse, or abuse; (b) ordinary wear and tear; (c) shrinkage, warping, fractures, discoloration, etc. within reasonable tolerances caused by aging or exposure to the elements including dampness, condensation, or corrosion; (d) changes in grading or landscaping of the surrounding ground; (e) defects in adjoining or contiguous structures; (f) soil movement or changed site conditions; or (g) acts of God, including, but not limited to fire, explosion, smoke, water escape, windstorm, rain, hail, lightning, falling trees, insects, aircraft, ground vehicles, flood, snow, ice, and earthquake. Under no circumstances shall Manufacturer be liable for injury to any person or damage to any property whatsoever by virtue of this warranty or otherwise.

DISCLAIMER: THE WARRANTIES AND REMEDIES CONTAINED HEREIN ARE EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING ANY LIABILITY ARISING UNDER ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, STATUTORILY OR OTHERWISE. HOWEVER, IF ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY CANNOT BE DISCLAIMED BY FEDERAL REGULATION OR IN ANY JURISDICTION WHERE PRODUCT IS SOLD, THE DURATION OF SUCH IMPLIED WARRANTY IS LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY DESCRIBED HEREIN.

5. MANUFACTURER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE UNDER ANY CONTRACT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY OR OTHER LEGAL OR EQUITABLE THEORY FOR ANY DIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, RESULTING FROM THE USE, MISUSE, OR INABILITY TO USE THE PRODUCT, OR ARISING OUT OF ANY BREACH OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, EVEN IF MANUFACTURER HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. THE SOLE REMEDY FOR A BREACH OF THE FOREGOING LIMITED WARRANTY IS REPLACEMENT OF THE DEFECTIVE WORKMANSHIP. THE MAXIMUM LIABILITY OF MANUFACTURER UNDER THIS WARRANTY IS LIMITED TO THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT COVERED BY THE WARRANTY.

6. This warranty is in addition to, and not in limitation of, any and all other rights and remedies to which purchaser may be entitled at law or in equity. Federal regulations and some state statutes may not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to a particular purchaser. This warranty provides specific legal rights, and purchaser may have other rights which may vary by jurisdiction. Manufacturer reserves the right to change or improve its product without any obligation to change or improve any product previously manufactured

FAQ

Do concrete footers need to be poured?

Our multi-positional base feet have a large footprint which eliminates the need for concrete pavers or poured footers. They are also offset and rotatable, allowing you to tuck them under a ramp or set them close to a wall.

Does my modular ramp system have to go straight out or can it turn?

You can configure the system to be a straight run or it can turn left or right by simply using a turn platform. The ramp system can also incorporate a switchback by using a turn back platform or it can extend at an angle by using a 45-degree angle platform. The system can be configured to meet your exact needs.

What sizes do the platforms and ramps come in?

We offer standard resting platforms in the following sizes: 4’x4′, 4’x5′, 5’x5′, 5’x6′, 6’x6′ and 8’x5′. Ramps are 36” & 48” wide and come in lengths of 2’-8’. Custom sizes are available upon request.

What do I use for ice and snow removal on ramps, platforms, and steps?

We suggest using a Magnesium Chloride salt substitute. Check out a blog we wrote on this!

Why don’t you sell platforms without handrails?

Safety is important to us and selling platforms with handrails is our standard.

What kind of tread is used on this ramp system?

Our platforms consist of a knurled, extruded tread for multi-directional traction, and our ramps feature a raised-rib, extruded tread for ultimate slip resistance.

Can I get the black applied surface on this ramp?

No, it is not available on our modular ramp system. This surface is available on two of our SUITCASE® portable folding ramps.

How long will installation take?

Depending on the configuration, installation time will vary; however, a system can typically be assembled with minimal tools the same day that it arrives.

Do the stairs have to connect to one of your platforms?

The stairs can not only connect to one of our platforms but they can also easily connect to an existing platform or deck because they have 4 independently adjustable legs.
