    Description

The Eagle All-Terrain is the standard Golden Eagle rebuilt for ground that would stop a normal scooter: a 200 amp controller instead of 140, 11 mph instead of 8, and adjustable suspension at both ends. It needs 76 inches to turn, so it is an outdoor machine and we will say so plainly.

    Common questions

Eagle or Eagle All-Terrain? Terrain decides it. The standard Golden Eagle runs 8 mph on a 140 amp controller and turns in 69 inches. The All-Terrain runs 11 mph on 200 amps and needs 76. If your ground is grass and slope, the AT earns the difference. If it is mostly pavement with the odd rough patch, the standard Eagle costs less and turns tighter.

Will it fit indoors? Assume not. At 63 inches long and 31.7 wide, with a 76-inch turning circle, this is built for outside and for getting between buildings rather than for working inside a house.

How do I get it home? It weighs 377 lbs. assembled on the 75 AH batteries, and the base alone is 208 lbs. Plan on a vehicle lift or a ramp. We fit both here in Tyler, and it is worth sorting out before the scooter arrives rather than after.

Financing? Through Eastman Credit Union. The details and the application are on our Accessibility Loans page.

What the extra power actually buys

The 200 amp controller is the part that matters on a slope. Paired with 13-inch pneumatic turf tires and 4 inches of ground clearance, it climbs and keeps its footing where a pavement scooter spins or stalls. Both ends carry adjustable suspension, and a turning speed reduction sensor eases it through corners rather than leaving that to the rider.

    Built for long days outdoors

Range is up to 34 miles on the standard 75 AH batteries at a 200 lb. rider weight, and 100 AH batteries are available where that is not enough. The seat is a 20 by 18 inch high-back Captain’s seat with limited recline on a sliding mount, and the armrests adjust for width, angle and height. An LCD color console offers three gauge layouts, and the lighting is a full LED package with brake light and turn signals.

    Manual

    Brochures

Golden does not publish a separate owner’s manual for the Eagle All-Terrain. The GR595 Golden Eagle manual does not cover this model, so it is deliberately not linked here. Ask us and we will request the current documentation from Golden for you.

    Warranty

    Golden Technologies warranty — Eagle All-Terrain GR596

The Eagle All-Terrain carries its own warranty terms, which differ from the rest of Golden’s scooter range. These are the periods Golden publishes on the GR596 sell sheet.

    • Frame: 5 years
    • Drive train: 2 years
    • Electronics: 2 years, batteries excluded
    • Batteries: 1 year

Warranty applies to the original purchaser from an authorized Golden Technologies provider, and a warranty registration card must be on file with Golden to receive service. Follow the usage and care instructions in the owner’s manual: not doing so voids the warranty on the scooter, its parts and the batteries.

I brought in an old knee scooter I bought off of FB Marketplace and they went above and beyond to fix the issue and make sure it was safe for my grandson to use. Best bunch of people I have ever met.

I called access to mobility to repair an electric scooter. It was not one that they had built, but they were very willing to come out and look at it. The price was very fair. They also aired up the tires and replaced the brake fluid. They took it back to the shop to work on it for about an hour and brought it back. Excellent customer service and very friendly people to work with. Would highly recommend!
