Description
RV entry lift · Made in the USA
Get into your RV sitting down.
The CoachLift RV Lift is a seat on a powered lift tube. You sit down at the door, press a button, rise to floor height and swing in through the door you already have. The entry door stays as it is.

How the CoachLift RV Lift works
- Sit downTake a seat in the aluminum chair at the door. The control is a hand-held pendant switch on a cable.
- RisePress the button. The chair climbs the lift tube slowly, driven by a 12-volt motor and an Acme screw.
- Swing inAt the height you want, swivel the chair through the doorway. The double-hinged swing arm lets the chair turn to any angle.
- TransferMove across onto the living floor of the coach. To leave, sit down, swing out and press the switch to go down.

What installation involves
- A metal bracket at the bottom is welded to a solid part of the RV’s structure.
- At the top, a bracket goes through the outside wall, with a metal backing plate on the inside.
- The swing arm and chair reach more than two feet into the coach.
- If no floor extension covers the step well, the installer has to make a step-well cover, so you can’t step back into the well while moving off the chair.
- When you travel, the chair and swing arm come off. Store them in a bay or inside the coach.
Frequently asked questions
Will the CoachLift RV Lift fit my RV?
CoachLift says it goes on almost any RV with little modification. Their own install videos cover Class A, B and C motorhomes, travel trailers and fifth wheels. Send us the year, make and model, and tell us where the entry door is.
Do I need to widen my RV door?
No. The chair swings through the door opening you already have.
What powers it?
The RV’s accessory battery. The lift runs on a reversing 12-volt DC motor.
Does it stay on while we drive?
The lift tube stays mounted. The chair and swing arm lift off so you can stow them in a storage bay or inside the coach.
Can it be customized?
Yes. CoachLift says custom work is a normal part of its business, because every rider’s situation is different.
