Common questions
Is body-steering hard to learn? The genuine learning curve runs hours, not months β and it is honestly fun. A supervised trial is essential, and we arrange exactly that.
Omeo or a Trackchair? Different souls: the Trackchair conquers terrain by force; the Omeo does it with agility. Terrain extremes favor tracks; everyday freedom favors this.

The Omeo Difference

Hands-Free Controls
Active Seat Control lets you steer with your core.
You regain that steady, hands-free feeling of movement.

Go Anywhere
Unrivalled off-road ability takes you places that used to be out of bounds. Now, the great outdoors is more open than ever.

For Tight Spaces
The Omeo turns in a 0-degree circle.
So it moves easily in tight spaces – at home, at the office, or at the mall.

Go Further
Leading lithium-ion batteries give the Omeo a range of up to 50km (about 31 miles) on one charge. Therefore, it can handle even the busiest day out.
Off Road Kit

The popular add-on kit lets you take your Omeo self-balancing wheelchair just about anywhere.
The Off-Road Kit includes wheel guards (fenders) and all-terrain wheels. They suit all outdoor use, across a wide range of ground.
However, the wide guards and bigger tires increase the Omeo’s width to 33 inches. That means it will not fit through standard doorways.
The tires have no crown and run at low pressure. Because of this, they feel like suspension – a smooth ride with great grip on soft sand, gravel, and dirt.
The turf-style tread also goes gently over delicate surfaces such as lawns and golf courses – above all when moving in a straight line.
The Seat

The Active Seat Control (ASC) system links person to machine. You control direction, speed, and braking with body movements.
The combination of the seat pan, seat positions, backrest and cushions makes for the ultimate support, comfort and control.
Feedback from leading seating specialists say βthey wouldnβt change a thingβ.
- The curved seat pan captures the legs β providing support for control.
- Adjustable positioning and height at 4 screw point in the Seat Pan.
- Great results from pressure mapping tests.
- The Omeo self-balancing wheelchair’s overall design is supportive and comfortable for a wide range of body types.
- Core features of sitting a wide range of people upright.
- Self-levelling while braking, going downhill, and crossing dips – so you never feel like you will fall out the front.
