Description
Above-ground pools are everywhere in East Texas, and they are exactly where most pool lifts give up — the wall height defeats standard designs. Aquatic Access builds just for above-ground pools, with their special twist: the lift runs on plain water pressure from a garden hose, no power cords at the pool.
Common questions
Water-powered — seriously? Yes — and it is neat: nothing to plug in, no wires near the water, very little upkeep.
Will it fit my pool’s wall height? That is the key number — have it handy when you call.
Overview
Aquatic Access Above Ground Lifts offer two seat layouts. Forward-facing (cylinder behind the seat) works best with a helper. In contrast, side-facing (cylinder to the left or right) lets many users ride alone. Many users can rotate themselves over the side of the pool or spa and reach the control knob.
You can add a self-turning handle. The fresh water that lifts the seat does not go to waste. You can drain it into the pool or spa. Or, with a longer hose, you can water the garden.
Model AG-48
Model AG-60
Model AG-72
The AG48, AG60, and AG72 mount on a stainless steel plate.
The plate welds to the cylinder bottom, then bolts to the floor or deck. You can also add a top-edge bracket and a tripod brace at the bottom of the cylinder. An optional side-facing seat and self-turning handle help some people use these lifts on their own. They turn themselves while seated.
For concrete or wood floors and decks, the cylinders weld to a stainless steel plate and bolt down. A top wall bracket and tripod brace suit free-standing units.
For in-ground setups, the cylinder mounts to your own 6″ x 6″ treated wood post. Usually, the post sets in concrete at least 30″ deep.
Included
Two fixed armrests, one seat belt, deck mounting hardware, and a white (standard) or blue seat.
However, note that blue seats can fade in patches in bright sun.
Optional
For example: flip-up armrests for the transfer side, right or left side-facing seats, a headrest you can adjust, seat belts, a larger seat, a footrest, and an underseat pad for spa benches.
