A three-position lift chair offers a sitting position, a lifted position, a reading position, and a recline position. However, the recline setting — sometimes called a “napping position” — is not a full recline. This is our most popular category. It provides a broad range of styles, features, and prices to suit every need and budget.
These chairs have a single motor, so one hand control operates every function. The backrest cannot be adjusted independently when you lift the leg rest. Instead, for independent adjustment of the leg rest and backrest, we recommend upgrading to a two-motor infinite-position or zero-gravity chair.
