How the rear-entry conversion works
- The power liftgate opens and the ramp unfolds from the lowered rear floor.
- The wheelchair rolls straight up the ramp and rides in the middle of the cabin, behind the second-row seats.
- Loading happens from the back, so the Traverse fits a standard parking space and needs no extra room beside it for a ramp.
The power transfer seat is in the second row on the driver’s side. A wired hand controller with pivot and travel switches turns the seat toward the open door and moves it out, so a passenger can transfer from their wheelchair and ride back in on the seat.
